IMPORTANCE OF RITUKALA IN FEMALE LIFE

Abstract
In Ayurveda, Dravya can be classified as Karana dravya and Karya
dravya. Karana dravya are Aakash, Vayu, Agni, Jala, Prithvi, Aatma,
Manas, Kala, Disha.[1] Kala is the Tatva or bhava which is responsible
for creation and health. Kala can be defined as season. Kala is of 2
type- Nityag and Aavasthik. All the Sharirik bhava is dependent on
Nityag and Aavasthik kaala. In Garbha sambhav samagri there is Ritu,
Kshetra, Ambu, Beeja[2] all four essential factor combines and quality
of progeny can be achieved. Ritu is depend on Kala and is one of the
important factor for maintaining quality of progeny, for widely
understanding the relevance of female normal physiology and proper
functioning this article is needed to design.
