Abstract

Functional constipation is one of the common gastrointestinal symptoms. Functional constipation is characterized by decreased bowel movements or hard stools. There are many medications available on constipation but most of them have any side effect or are habit forming. Here tambul patra was used for overcoming the constipation. Tambul patra has sansrana guna which makes bowel soft and easy bowel movements. Aim: To evaluate the efficacy of tambul patra in functional constipation.
