Abstract

Ayurveda is the nectar for mankind. Ayurveda is the holistic science which has various kinds of treatment modalities. Karnapurana is one of the treatment modalities. In Karnapurana technique, warm medicated liquid is poured into the ear. Karnapurana not only uproot the aliments but also prevent the disease. Karnapurana is advised for different Urdhajatrugata Vikara. Karnapurana brings the imbalance dosha to balance state for proper functioning of ear, head, neck etc. In this procedure, ear is filled with different medicated liquids like Mutra, Taila, Swarasa. Karnapurana is the part of Vicharana Sneha. That is why, Vataja disease in ear is highly encountered by Karnapurana. Karnapurana is the part of Dinacharya to maintain healthy wellbeing.
