since time immemorial. However, it becomes mandatory to develop
quality profiles of all such formulations that contain metals or minerals
or poisons in their composition. Aims and Objective: To prepare 2
types of Swaskuthara Rasa as mentioned in classical texts and to do its
Analytical Analysis. Materials and Methods: Firstly purification of
ingredients called Parada, Gandhaka, Tankana, Manashila, Vatsnabha
was done as mentioned in classical books followed by formation of

Ayurvedic texts (Bhaishajya Ratnavali and Yogratnakar) and
characterized by various modern analytical techniques. Organoleptic
characteristics, Physico-chemical analysis like Total ash, Acid insoluble ash, Water soluble
ash, Loss on drying at 105 c, Identification chemical, Assay of elements and tablets tests like
Shape, Hardness, Uniformity of Weight, Disintegration time were carried out as per API. Results and Conclusion: Classical pharmaceutical procedures of Swaskuthara Rasa converts the macro elements into therapeutically effective medicines of micro form which is proved by its analytical analysis.
