Abstract

Subcapsular hematoma of the liver (HSCF) is a rare complication of pregnancy, its incidence varies between 1/45,000 and 1/225,000 births. It most often occurs in the context of preeclampsia, HELLP syndrome or rarely acute hepatic steatosis of pregnancy.[1,2] Its prognosis is severe.
