KASHYAPOKTA TRISAMA GUTIKA - APPLIED ASPECTS: A REVIEW STUDY

. Abstract Ayurveda for prevention of disease is accepted worldwide because the main purpose of Ayurveda is to maintain healthy being. Ahara is Mahabheshaj according to Acharya Kashyapa. There is no medicine like Ahara and Ahara alone can make people healthy without diseases. The wholesome Ahara should consists of all Shadrasa. Trisama Gutika which is sarvaroghari contains Ahariya drvaya and three rasas out of Shadrasa. In this article an effort is made to explore the Trisama Gutika and its applied aspects.
