Kaphaja Galaganda is one of the Kaphaja Nanatmaja Vikara. It is a
Kapha Pradhana Tridosha Vyadhi with Rasa and Medho Dushti
predominantly. In Ayurveda various Manasika Bhavas like Chinta,
Bhaya, Krodha, Raga, Dwesha etc have been considered to play an
important role in the precipitation of the disease. Chinta is also a cause
of Rasvaha srotodushti. The mala of rasa is Kapha, which also
undergoes dushti, and this dushita rasa will give nourishment to

there is decrease in Vydhikshamatva of the person and thus making
them more susceptible to disease. By conceptual analysis of Kaphaja
