ANALYTICAL STUDY OF PATHYAGOKSHURADI KWATHA CHURNA

Abstract

Pathyagokshuradi kwath is a yoga mentioned in Sahasrayoga. This yoga is administered along with Madhu (honey) and Sharkara (sugar) as anupana. This yoga is indicated in Paittika Mutrakricchra (acute lower urinary tract infection). Standardizing a formulation makes it easier to provide a reference for additional research. In the present study; Organoleptic characters, determination of pH, Loss on drying, Total Ash, Acid insoluble ash, Water soluble ash, Acid soluble extractive, Water soluble extractive tests were carried out.
