. Abstract Background: Psoriasis is an autoimmune skin disease that causes skin cells to multiply up to 10 times faster than normal. This makes the build-up skin into bumpy red patches covered with white scales. Psoriasis most frequently affects the skin of the elbows, knees, scalp, lumbosacral areas, intergluteal cleft and genital organ. Psoriasis can't be passed from person to person. Psoriasis have devastating physical, mental, and psychosocial consequences. Because of the apparent cosmetic side effects, this disease in many cases influences how others affect patients and patients feelings about themselves. Among the worst complications of the disease are the phenomena of stigma and labeling from individuals and community. If psoriasis is not treated in initial stage than it spread into whole body In other systems of medicine the drug given are only to alleviate symptom at the cost of many side effects.
