A CLINICAL STUDY ON MEDOROGA (OBESITY) AND IT”S MANAGEMENT BY “PANCHATIKTA GRITA KHSEER BASTI”

Abstract

Now- a days „OBESITY” has an important impactness on health impairment and reduced quality of life. In Ayueveda Obesity may be correlated with “Medoroga”. In this present study ten patients have been selected from opd of J.B.Roy State Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital on the basis of inclusion and exclusion criteria. Here “Panchatikta Ghrita Kheer” has been administered on them whereas “Pancha tikta Ghrita” was Anuvasana Basti & “Pancha tikta Ksheer was “Niruha Basti”. After administration of Basti for sixteen days statistical Analysis (Student „s T test) done. There is satisfactory result of “Panchatikta Ghrita Khseer Basti” on obesity where SD -12.58, SE 3.98,t value 3.21,p value -
