A CASE STUDY ON CLINICAL EFFICACY OF SOME INDIGENOUS AYURVEDIC DRUGS ON PANDU ROGA W.S.R TO IDA

Abstract
In the present Era life style is changing due to the changes in life of
people. Also due to busy schedule and lack of time people are using
fast food and ready made food regularly, Thus it leads to downfall in
one’s health due to lack of proper nutrition. As a result people are
suffering from various nutritional disorders and the commonest among
them is Pandu Roga. or IDA. In modern medicines various Iron
preparations are used to overcome Anaemia but these Oral
preparations have many side effects like Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea,
Constipation etc. Ayurveda offers a lot of natural herbal preparations
for treatment of Pandu Roga. One such single drug shigru patra or
shobhaanjana patra was selected for the case study on Pandu Roga.
For this case study single Patient was taken from the OPD. Of Department of Kayachikitsa
of Shri khudadaad dunga ji Government Ayurveda College Hospital Raipur (C.G). The
patient was assessed on the basis of Subjective and Heamotological. Parameters for
obtaining the effect of drug. Duration of Clinical trial was of two months and the
follow up was done for two months to evaluate the effect. of the Trial drug.
