Nishant Tomar, Snigdha Bhardwaj*
Abstract
The physical, chemical, and biological features of all the drug
substances and pharmaceutical components that will be utilized in the
product's fabrication must be taken into account for the dosage form's
correct design and formulation. To create a drug product that is stable,
effective, appealing, simple to use, and safe, the medication and
pharmaceutical materials must be compatible with one another. The
product should be produced using the proper quality control
procedures and packed in materials that promote product stability. The
product has to be labelled to encourage proper usage and stored in
ways that extend its shelf life. The preparation processes for various
dosage forms and drug delivery systems are covered in the following chapters. The
requirements for good manufacturing practice are presented in this chapter along with some
basic thoughts on pharmaceutical components, medicinal product formulation, and standards.
Keywords: Pharmaceutical, physical, chemical, biological.
