Abstract
One innovative drug delivery method that offers a therapeutic
improvement over traditional or immediate-release single-unit dose
forms is the use of microspheres. Microspheres are solid objects with
diameters between 1 and 1000 nm. There are various varieties of
microspheres that can be identified. These microspheres are
manufactured and either directly compressed or filled with firm
gelatin. The microsphere was prepared and filled with either hard
gelatin or direct compression. When compared to conventional dosage
forms, the microspheres that are made using different techniques have
varying efficacy and methods of administration. Different approaches
that analyse the quality of the microsphere will be used to evaluate the
microsphere. In the future, the microsphere will play a key role in the delivery of new drugs.
