PRAMEHA – A PENALTY FOR FAULTY PATTERN OF LIFE

Abstract
The behavioural trends of the present era like undisciplined food
intake, irregular sleep pattern, prolonged sitting for work, lack of
exercise all fall under the stated Nidana of Prameha. This has resulted
in majority of the population develop Prameha, irrespective of age. To
regulate a patient at all the three levels: Ahara, Nidra and
Brahmacharya and thereby accomplishing Samprapti Vighatana can be
done in a powerful manner with the aid of Rasaushadhi. Rasayoga
have the potential to simultaneously correct Agni, Dhatu, Srotas as
well as provide Rasayana effect to the organs. In this regard, the
present article is a critical analysis of Pramehahara Yoga with special
reference to Pramehadhikara of Rasendra Chintamani.
