Abstract
A thorough analysis of animal cell culture techniques, tools, and media
formulation, sterilisation, and culture vessels & vessels, Organotypic
culture and specialised cell culture techniques; various tissue culture
techniques; primary culture, secondary culture, contamination, cryopreservation
& cytotoxicity Cell culture techniques used in drug
development and evaluation include trypsinization, cell separation,
suspension culture, organ culture, and cryopreservation. Modern life
sciences require the use of animal cell culture technology, which
serves as a foundation for research into regulation, proliferation, and
differentiation as well as genetic manipulation. The crucial background knowledge needed to
establish animal cell cultures is included in this overview. Cancer research, vaccine
production, recombinant protein synthesis, medication development and selection, gene
therapy, stem cell biology, monoclonal antibody production, in vitro fertilisation technology,
cryopreservation, and in vitro hormone production are some of the main applications. The
overview of the idea of animal cell culture and its fundamental details are covered in this
paper.
Keywords: Equipment, aseptic techniques, Primary culture, secondary culture, contamination, cytotoxicity, Culture vessels and media development, Trypsinization, Cryopreservation, Applications.
