HYPOKALAEMIA ASSOCIATED WITH SERTRALINE OVERDOSE: A CASE REPORT

. Abstract Sertraline is one of the most commonly used antidepressant drugs, for the treatment of depressive disorders. Several adverse effects have been reported with Sertraline. The most common adverse effects were dizziness, sleepiness, agitation, hallucination etc. In this case report, we discuss one of the rarely reported adverse effect of sertraline overdose. Since Sertraline is widely used all over the world, the reporting of this kind of adverse effect is essential. Keywords: Sertraline, Hypokalaemia, Depression.
