A LITERATURE REVIEW STUDY ON THE AYURVEDA PERSPECTIVE OF ANNAPANA

Abstract
Background:- Ayurveda literature is scattered in various compendia
and even in one compendium it is scattered in various sections. „Group
of four chapters‟ or as stated in Sanskrit, „Chatushka’ is a specific kind
of construction of Samhita. Since „Annapana chatushka’ is one of the
three vital necessities in human life, it is chosen for analysis along with
different references. Aim:- To review literature part of Ayurveda
Perspective of Annapana. Materials and Method:- As it is
fundamental literary study, most important materials are Samhitas.
These Samhitas are analysed for brief knowledge about Annapana and
Ahara. Observations and Result:- After observation got brief
knowledge about importance of Annapana and different classification
of Anna. Conclusion:- This study concludes with the importance and
different classification of Annapana and its necessity.
