GENERAL REVIEW ON FACE SERUM

. Abstract Cosmetics industry has had consistent growth over the last decade. Major factors boosting growth in this category is huge and growing youth population. Now a day’s Women in India are becoming more conscious about their skin, not only in terms of colour but also reduced wrinkles, to look young and bright, and thereby increasing demand for various types of skin care products. Serum is a highly concentrated product based on water or oil as any other cream. serum has few ingredients designed to optimize the availability of the active agent, which may be a vitamin, growth factor, botanical extract, etc. Because of thinner viscosity serum not only absorbs quickly but they also penetrate into the deep layers of skin to target various areas & give maximum efficacy. Facial serum was tested for its colour, pH, physical appearance, homogeneity, spredability, viscosity, microbial testing, centrifugation test, depigmentation activity, moisturizing property, antioxidant activity, etc. Keywords: .
