STUDY OF CORRELATION OF MADHAV NIDANOKTA AMAVATA WITH RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO RA TEST AND CRP TEST

. Abstract Ayurveda, the ancient system of Indian medicine is a treasure of outputs and data obtained through invasive research programme of many thaousands of years. It is simple practical science of life. Its principles are universally applicable to each individual for daily existence. Today as man is climbing the step of success he is moving away from health. Abnormal food habits (Virrudhahara), style of living, greed, anger have become a part of his life. The sedentary life style given birth to number of diseases. Amavata is one of the challenging disease for the physicians due to its chronicity, incurability, complications and morbidity. Modern medical science has concluded that even after administration of their best drugs, the disease has a tendency to persist progress and cripples the patient. That‟s why it becomes duty of the research scholar to work on the various aspects of this disease. The main aim of this research work is diagnose madhav nidanokta Amavata with classical sign and symptoms mentioned in ayurvedic texts and correlate it with Rheumatoid Arthritis on the basis of RA and CRP test and then study the hetu-lakshana correlation of amavata in 100 patients in government ayurved hospital nanded.
