A BROAD REVIEW ON AMLAVETAS (GARCINIA PEDUNCULATA)

. Abstract This article explores the medicinal properties of the plant Garcinia pedunculata in Ayurvedic medicine. Garcinia pedunculata is a plant found in the tropical and subtropical regions of India and Southeast Asia. In Ayurveda, it is commonly known as "Mahanimba" and has been used for centuries to treat a variety of ailments, including digestive disorders, skin diseases, and diabetes. The article provides a comprehensive overview of the plant's traditional uses in Ayurveda, as well as its pharmacological properties and active constituents. The article also discusses recent scientific research on the plant, including its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antidiabetic effects.
