. Abstract The review mainly explain the process, methods and need of coding in pharmacovigilance mainly caring on MedDRA. This review aimed to promote understanding, education about the coding processes and their elements. Review includes all the terms, elements, purposes of coding. These codes act as the communicating language between doctors, insurance companies, insurance clearinghouses, hospitals, government agencies, and other health-specific organizations. Taking all the considerable points the current significance of INN system of drug also mentioned.
