Abstract

Kitibha Kushtha present with Symptoms Shyavam, Khara Sparsha and Parusha which closely resembles with symptoms of Psoriasis. All the skin diseases in Ayurveda have been discussed under the broad heading of "Kushtha", Psoriasis is a proliferative autoimmune skin disease. The present case study reports a 35 year old male treated with Ayurvedic management principles of Kitibha Kushtha which showed encouraging result after Virechana Karma and Shamana Chikitsa.
