Abstract
In the present study, conventional method of bioactive synthesis of Nphenyl
nicotinamide derivatives 4). These derivatives (4) can be
prepared from nicotinoylchloride (2) with various substituted anilines
(3) in the presence of DCC in ethanol at reflux. The nicotinoylchloride
(2) can be obtained by nicotinic acid with thionyl chloride in the
presence of MDC at reflux. All prepared compounds were
characterized via FT-IR spectroscopy; some of them were
characterized by 1H-NMR and 13CNMR spectroscopy. These new Nphenyl
nicotinamide derivatives were tested pharmacological activities
in microbial activity. Some of tested compounds showed strong
activity while the other showed moderate against.
Keywords: 1H-NMR and 13CNMR spectroscopy.
