.

Abstract

Visha is a substance that, when consumed, can induce vitiation of the seven Dhatus and even result in death. Dushi Visha, also known as Kritrima, is any poison that comes from either living things or inanimate objects. Dushi Visha is the term for Visha that resides in the body after partial expulsion or incomplete detoxification that has only been temporarily performed by anti-poisonous medications etc. According to the prominent dosha and its site, the clinical presentation of Dushi Visha is detailed. A few things that make Dushi Visha worse include Dushit Desha, Kaal, Anna, and Diwaswapna. Due to Dushi Visha, problems like Jwara, Daha, Hikka, Adhmana, Vandhyawa, Shotha, Atisaar, Murcha, Hridroga, Unmada, and Kampa arise. Dushi Visha must be treated using Swedana, Vamana, Virechana, and Dushivishari Agada. The main causes of Dushi Visha are modern lifestyle choices such consuming fast food, soda, baked goods, applying cosmetics, and working in chemical industries. All of these topics, including the causal factor, prodromal symptoms, and lines of treatment, have been covered in this review study.
