INSECTICIDAL ACTIVITY OF EUCALYPTUS: A REVIEW

. Abstract In India, eucalyptus trees are virtually ubiquitous. Tall, sickle-shaped leaves and smooth bark are features of the plant. The main sources of all significant components are bark and leaves. This plant can be used to treat a variety of human health conditions, such as respiratory problems, stress reduction, and mood swings. Another important trait that has been discovered is that eucalyptus chemical resources offer insecticidal properties. The major objective of this article is to provide a complete description of the insecticidal characteristics of eucalyptus leaves and to explain why they are a beneficial alternative to synthetic insecticides. Since it is less toxic than synthetics, which can harm the environment and those who come into contact with it, eucalyptus oil is frequently utilised for insecticidal purposes.
