A COMPARATIVE CLINICAL STUDY ON BRAHMI CHURNA AND MANDUKPARNI CHURNA IN THE MANAGEMENT OF ATTENTION-DEFICIT HYPERACTIVITY DISORDER

. Abstract ADHD is the most studied disorder. It is the most common neurobehavioral disorder and it is among the most prevalent chronic health condition affecting school-aged children. In this study 20 children diagnosed as Attention Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) were administered Brahmi Churna alongwith Madhu as Anupana and were compared with control group which were administered Mandukparni Churna. Both group were assessed before, after 45 days and follow up after 15 days. Considering the overall effect, Brahmi Churna and Mandukparni Churna showed significant result on subjective parameter overall assessment. No adverse reaction was found.
