Abstract
The Netra KriyaKalpa is the name given in Ayurveda to the local
therapeutic methods for Netra. Kriya denotes medical treatments used
to treat a disease, while Kalpa denotes actual application. One of the
most distinctive subdisciplines of Ayurveda, Shalakya Tantra treats
diseases of every supraclavicular region. In addition to all of these
factors, the eyes are extremely important because they are the window
to the outside world. The protection of the eye sight should be the main
goal because Netra is regarded to be the Pradhana Indriya. Without
eyes, everything appears black, and one must rely on others forever.
Bidalaka is a modified form of Lepa Kalpana. In this essay, its
potential method of action and significance will be covered.
Keywords: Vidalaka, Netra, Netra Gata Roga, Kriya Kalpa.
