Abstract
Rosehip oil is well-known natural oil because it contains polyphenolic bioactive elements. Rosehip oil is a treatment that is well-known for its medicinal effects and potential benefits for treating skin conditions. Rosehip ointment medication delivery systems have been created using a variety of strategies to improve drug administration and maximise efficacy. Liposomes, nanoparticles, microemulsions, and solid lipid nanoparticles are a few of the strategies that have been reviewed. When developing drug delivery methods for rosehip ointment, researchers and pharmaceutical scientists can make educated selections if they are aware of these techniques. This article seeks to give a thorough understanding of the several methods used to create rosehip
ointment, highlighting its benefits, drawbacks, and future prospective uses.
Keywords: Rosehip oil, Rosehip ointment, liposomes, nanoparticles, microemulsions, and solid lipid nanoparticles.
