STANDARDIZATION OF HERBAL BODY SCRUB BY USING PHYSICOCHEMICAL PARAMETERS AND HPTLC FINGERPRINTING

Abstract
Body scrub is an ayurvedic remedy that is used to eliminate dirt, dead
skin cells, and grime so that the skin is whiter and brighter. Nine herbal
constituents make up the polyherbal composition. This preparation and
formulation were discovered in an authoritative publication, such as an
Indian ayurvedic formulary. This study report makes an effort to create
quality control measures and assess the standardisation Analysis of the
physicochemical parameters was done in accordance with the
Ayurvedic Pharmacopoeia of India's guidelines. Tests were done for
foreign matter, loss on drying, total ash, acid insoluble ash, alcohol
soluble extractive, water soluble extractive, HPTLC fingerprint profile, and developing
HPTLC fingerprint.
