FORMULATION DEVELOPMENT AND IN-VITRO CHARACTERIZATION OF EXTENDED RELEASE OF VENLAFAXINE HCl PELLETS
Ravi Kumar* and Dr. Ishab Paliwal
. Abstract Controlled and modified drug delivery systems play a crucial role in the field of pharmaceuticals, specifically in oral drug delivery. These systems include immediate release, modified release, and novel drug delivery systems. Immediate release products release the active ingredient immediately after administration, while modified-release products alter the timing and rate of drug release. Modified-release formulations offer advantages over conventional dosage forms and encompass controlled release, extended release, sustained release, prolonged release, delayed release, and targeted-release systems. These formulations optimize the oral bioavailability and blood concentration profile of drugs belonging to BCS Class I. Keywords: . [Full Text Article] [Download Certificate] |
