COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF AYURVEDIC PREPARATIONS AND ALLOPATHIC MEDICINE FOR BURN WOUND MANAGEMENT: A CRITICAL REVIEW

. Abstract Burn injuries are a significant global health concern, and effective wound management is essential for optimal healing and patient outcomes. Traditional systems of medicine, such as Ayurveda, have been used for centuries to treat various ailments, including burn wounds. This article aims to critically analyse the use of Ayurvedic preparations compared to allopathic medicine in the context of burn wound management. By reviewing the available scientific literature, we evaluate the efficacy, safety, and potential advantages and limitations of both approaches. This analysis will contribute to the understanding of Ayurveda’s role in burn wound care and inform evidence-based clinical decision-making.
