FORMULATION AND QUALITY ANALYSIS OF POLYHERBAL FACE PACK POWDER

. Abstract The smooth powder that is applied to the face is called a face pack. These solutions are applied to the face as pastes or liquids and then allowed to dry and harden into a film, which has the effect of tightening, nourishing, and cleaning the skin. The film that results contracts and hardens after being applied to the skin for ten to twentyfive minutes, allowing all the water to drain, making it simple to remove. The objective of present research work to formulate, prepare and quality evaluate the polyherbal face pack powder for cleaning and glowing the face. Face pack powder is prepared by using several polyherbs like that Haldi (Curcuma longa- Zingiberaceae), Dalchini (Myristica fragrans –Myristicaceae), Orange (Citrus sinensis-Rutaceae), Tulsi (Ocimum tenuiflorum- Lamiaceae), Neem (Azadirachta indica-Meliaceae), Mentha (Mentha piperita L. -Lamiaceae) & Rose petals (Rosa rubiginosa- Rosaceae). Prepared Face pack formulation was analyzed by using different standard parameters viz.physicochemical parameters, phytochemical tests and development of HPTLC fingerprints profile. Formulation was found good cleaner, glowing of the face skin and also free from eye and skin irritation and harmful effect of the body.
