STRESS MANAGEMENT THROUGH AYURVED

. Abstract Both Ayurvedic science and contemporary medicine are aware of the function that stress plays in the aetiology of a number of disorders. In Ayurveda, the stress is referred to as sahasa. Sahasa makes the body more vulnerable to infections by causing Ojahksaya (loss of immunity). Avoidance the best course of action is to reduce stress, but if that is not possible, the body should be in good health. Protected by maintaining a healthy diet and getting enough sleep, where sleep refers to restful sleep necessary for the body. Additionally, daily consumption of a number of rasayana herbs can improve coping the body's capacity is suggested. Many of these rasayanas have severe stress signs minimising the negative impacts of animal experiments, and research is being done to logically apply herbal product rasayana in stress management.
