Abstract

Nanotechnology is widely anticipated as one of the key technologies of the 21st century.â€ÂIndustrial nanotechnology applications are farreaching, spanning all science and engineering disciplines. One of the most promising nanotechnology fields is Nanopharmaceuticals. Because nanomaterials may enter the body through dermal exposure, inhalation, ingestion, or ocular contact, they lend themselves to innovative drug delivery systems. Pharmaceutical research, toxicology studies, formulation, and manufacture of pharmaceutical products require material characterization to ensure consistent drug safety and effectiveness. Nano sized objects can be transformed in numerous ways to alter their characterstics. drug molecules sized in nano metere range provide some unique characterstics which leads to improve efficacy of drug. nanopharmaceuticals used such as liposome, nanotube, nanogel, dendrimers, polymeric nanoparticles.
