Abstract
The usage of digital technologies in pharmacy practise and education,
along with the 2019 coronavirus disease outbreak, provide pharmacists
with their greatest difficulties in the profession's history. The use of
digital technologies for pharmaceutical care and pharmacy education
has considerably risen globally and will be included into patient care
and the teaching-learning process, respectively. The use of technology
in healthcare has resulted in significant adjustments to how healthcare
workers approach patient care. The field of digital health has given
chemists new chances to involve patients in clinical practise. This
article identifies key facets of digital health that chemists should be
aware of, particularly in relation to areas like illness management and
drug adherence. Web-based therapies and mobile apps had generally
good effects, whereas the effects of telephone-based interventions on patients' outcomes were
clearly mixed. The cost-effectiveness of digital therapies hasn't received much attention in
studies up to this point. Pharmacies and companies are using these technologies into their
operations and practises more frequently.
Keywords: Digital health, Pharmacist, Covid 19.
