karma and dosage, pharmacological properties, formulations and
preparations of Varuna (Crataeva nurvala Buch.-Ham.) are described.
The present study deals with the pharmacognostical and preliminary phytochemical studies
on stem bark of Varuna (Crataeva nurvala Buch.-Ham.). Macroscopical and microscopical
characters, physio-chemical constants, quantitative microscopy parameters, extractive values,
TLC and HPTLC were studied. Preliminary phytochemical analysis of Varuna (Crataeva
nurvala Buch.-Ham.) stem bark was studied. The purpose of this study will help researchers
