A REVIEW ARTICLE ON THE SEASONAL DOSHIK VARIATION AND ITS EFFECT ON TWACHA

. Abstract Ayurveda is an ancient science, dealing with the techniques of attaining and maintaining our own optimal health and well-being. Healthy skin is a source of pleasure not only for the bearer but also to people who look at it. Twacha reflects the normal physiology of an individual. Slight change in color, temperature or texture of skin indicates the homeostatic imbalance in the body. Twacha regulates cellular and molecular interactions in response to our environment (different seasons). Dosha-Dhatu and Mala plays a vital role in maintaining Twak Swasthya. The interaction of Twacha with corresponding Doshas help in maintaining it in different Ritus.
