BRIEF REVIEW ON PSYCHOTIC DISORDER: SEXUAL SADISM DISORDER, IT’S CAUSES, SYMPTOMS, DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENTS

. Abstract Sexual sadism disorder is the term of paraphilia. In which sadistic person desire brutal rape, torture, or death of the victim in order to reach sexual excitement. The paraphilias are a group of mental disorders characterized by obsession with unusual sexual practices or with sexual activity involving inappropriate partners. Sadistic individuals harm our innocent partner for their own emotional satisfaction and pleasure. In this review provide the overview of sexual sadism disorder, starting with definition and its history. Also mention there causes, symptoms, diagnosis and treatments. There are various types of synthetic medication are used for the treatment of SSD like serotonergic antidepressants and antiandrogenic drugs. But it shows various side effects like hypertension, hyperglycemia, fatigue, headache and weight. Due to this, there is not any treatment are available which are help to completely cure that disorder without showing side effects. That‟s why yoga and meditation therapy are used because they show less side effect, permanent cure and safe than the synthetic treatment. This review focused on to realize the readers to understand the importance of yoga and meditation in treatment of psychotic disorders as well as in daily life.
