AYURVEDA AND ASTROLOGY: A HOLISTIC PATH TO WELL BEING

. Abstract Life from ancient times to modern times is generally calculated and evaluated in light of what counts as civilization and culture. The discussion on Indian culture, heritage, literature and civilization clearly shows how beautifully the value of life is portrayed. The Vedas are a divine literary treasure that holds the secret of life and forms the basis of the Temple of Life. Ayurveda, the Upaveda of Athrvana Veda, is a science that deals not only with diseases and aspects of their treatment, but also with lifestyle. The explanation of Purushartha in the Ayurvedic classics reflects the importance of Ihaloka and Paraloka karma in a person's life. Jyothishya Shastra (astrology) is important Vedanga is one of the ancient sciences which includes the study of Graha Nakshatradi Padartha. Since it is one of the Vedangas, it has been called Vedic astrology in recent times. Its purpose is similar to that of Ayurveda and offers a wide range of remedies that can be combined with Daiva- Vyapashraya Chikitsa in Ayurveda.
