. Abstract Introduction: In the present era, liver diseases are highly praised. Drug-induced Liver injury (DILI) annual incidence in the general population is under 15-20 per 100,000. Modern medicine and ayurvedic Ushna (very hot) and Tikshna (pungent) Ausdh (drugs), if taken for a long time or used in high doses increase Pitta Dosha, during the process of decontamination, the process can destroy excessive amounts of liver cells and can cause phantasmagorical distortion in the functions of the liver. It becomes incapable of completely detoxifying the drug taken above and being unable to get out of the unspecified drug, and that drug starts accumulating in the body and becomes more toxic and expresses its symptoms through Rakta as Raktadushti Vikara (symptoms). Accumulated toxins in the blood destroy the Panchmahabhautik Sandhan (natural five-dimensional) composition of the blood and cause distortion in the natural functions of the blood. Methods: A critical review of classical textbooks, various scientific journals, and other databases like PUBMED, AYUSH DHARA, etc. Results: Prescribing DILI medicines by a doctor becomes a compulsion for the doctor because they have no other better option. In such a situation, patients can also take Ayurvedic medicine, so then the condition of liver toxicity does not arise, and they can remove or reduce the toxins from drug-borne poisoning by daily Samshodhan (anti-refinement) and Sanshaman (mitigation) measures. Conclusion: Our aim is not to defame any medical science but to aware both the patient and the doctor about drugs that can induce liver injury. It will greatly contribute to Ayurveda if the drug-induced liver injury gets reduced or cured. Keywords: Ushna (very hot) and Tikshna (pungent) Ausdh (drugs), DILI.
