“A RANDOMIZED, CONTROLLED, CLINICAL STUDY OF EFFICACY OF KARANJVARTI ANJANA IN AVRANSHUKLA WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO CORNEAL OPACITYâ€

. Abstract This clinical research work entitled “A Randomized, Controlled, Clinical Study of Efficacy of Karanjvarti Anjana in Avranshukla with special reference to Corneal Opacity” carried out in OPD and IPD of Gov. Ayurveda college, Nanded, to evaluate the efficacy of Karanjvarti Anjana in Avranshukla. Trial Group patients were given Karanjvarti with Madhu Anjana and Madhu Anjana in Control Group. Each group contents 30 patients. Size of Opacity, Density, Diminished Vision and Lacrimation were kept as parameters for assessment. Effect of treatment was statistically significant in both Groups. Difference between Trial and Control Group was statistically significant for all parameters. Trial Group is significantly better than Control Group. No adverse reaction of drug was noted.
