*Dr. Jyoti, Dr. Prerna, Dr. Anuradha and Dr. Vibhooti Chandrakar
. Abstract Adharniya Vegas are the impulses that should not be suppressed because they are caused by unavoidable excretion. Some of them are essentially physiological, while others are defensive biological reactions. Ancient Ayurvedic doctrines claim that the suppression of natural Vega is the primary cause of all medical conditions. As well as leading to some issues and diseases, suppressing desires is not a desirable habit. Therefore, it shouldn't be suppressed. Chapter 7 of the Sutra Sthana by Acharya Charak discusses the thirteen different sorts of Adharniya Vega, their ailments, and how to remedy them. The six that induce Udavartta are among the thirteen. The thirteen forms of Vega, their definitions, problems, and treatments are discussed in the chapter Udavartta Pratishedha of the Sushruta Samhita, which does not have a distinct chapter devoted to them. As a result of Vegadharana, 13 different varieties of Udavartta are described in detail here. According to Ashtanga Hridya, stifling one's impulses or provoking them forcibly might lead to a variety of illnesses. Excreta are often either nitrogenous compounds or carbon dioxide, both of which are damaging to the organism. Despite this, suppressing thirst, sleep, vomiting, or lacrimation might be hazardous to the individual. Keywords: Vega, Vegadharana, Adharniya Vega, Health.
