A LITERATURE REVIEW ON BIOMEDICAL APPLICATION’S OF NANOTECHNOLOGY
Balu T. Jatap and Bhagyashree Dattu Nath*
. Abstract "Nanotechnology, derived from the Greek word for 'dwarf,' represents the manipulation and understanding of matter at atomic, molecular, and supramolecular levels, typically in the range of 1 to 100 nanometers. It has found applications in diverse fields, particularly in the field of nanomedicine. Nanotechnology's ability to engineer materials and devices at the nanoscale holds the potential to revolutionize diagnostics, therapeutics, and biomedical tools. This abstract highlights the pivotal role of nanotechnology in reducing energy reliance, improving pharmaceutical solutions, and enhancing materials' functionality. Furthermore, it underscores the growing importance of nanobiomedicine, where nanoscale principles and techniques are applied to medical purposes, from drug synthesis to brain understanding and beyond." Nanotechnology has so many Biomedical Applications and some of them are discussed in this review article like Lipid, DNA, protein and glyco nanotechnology, Carbon nanotubes are also plays an very important role in biomedical applications of nanotechnology. Biomedical nanotechnology also used in the tissue engineering, preparation of nanobots etc. Keywords: Nanoparticles, Carbon nanotubes, Drug Delivery, Tissue Engineering, Cancer Therapy.
