Abstract

Chromene are oxygen-containing heterocycles, abundantly found in nature in the form of flavone, flavones, flavanones, catechins, anthocyanins and collectively known as flavonoids and isoflavonoids. This abstract highlights the diverse pharmacological properties of natural Chromene, showcasing its potential as an anti-cancer, antibacterial, protein kinase inhibitor, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antitubercular, and antiepileptic agent. The compound's multifaceted characteristics suggest promising applications in various medical fields.
