. Abstract Devastating outcomes for patients are possible with spinal cord injuries. In this in-depth review paper, we covered the epidemiology of spinal cord injuries and the neurologic exam findings that indicate primary and secondary injury development. The common theory of how nerve damage occurs is followed by the development of novel therapeutic strategies and their applicability to enhancing results. The condition is complex, and there are numerous management considerations. Additionally, it requires scientific research and innovation in both pharmaceuticals and devices.
