DADHI AS KARAKA IN KUSHTA â€“ A REVIEW ARTICLE

Abstract

A medical system from India that has been used for thousands of years. The goal is to cleanse the body, to restore, balance the body, mind, and spirit incorporated in life for heathy living. Dadhi is such a food item that is popular in all the ages. Dadhi being a Ksheera Vikruti prepared by fermentation of milk. To put it more pragmatic about 48.8 percent of people consumes Dadhi on a daily basis.[1] Dadhi seems to be major Nidana for many Vyadi if it is consumed in a wrong way. It is presumed that the Dadhi because of its Amla rasa vitiates Pitta and Rakta.[2] As Dadhi acts a major karaka in causing Kushta and other Vyadi an effort of understanding it.
