Abstract

A new series of compounds, namely N-arylamino-5- chloropentanamides (3a-3j) and 1-{4’-[4’’-(N-aryl amidopentoxy) phenyl] piperazin-1’-yl}-ethanones (5a-5j), were synthesized. The chemical structures of compounds were confirmed by 1H-NMR, IR, Mass spectral analysis. The compounds (3a-3j) and (5a-5j) have been evaluated their antimicrobial activity.
