. Abstract The axial skeleton is the primary target of Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS), an inflammatory illness with an unclear etiology that also commonly affects peripheral joints and extraarticular structures. The condition often manifests in the second or third decade; the prevalence ratio for males to females is 2:1 to 3:1. For Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS) patients to receive symptomatic relief, lifetime treatment is necessary. The purpose of this report is to discuss how an integrated approach may help people with chronic AS become less dependent on painkillers and steroids. This kind of musculoskeletal disease is managed as Vatavyadhi's in Ayurveda. As a result, many therapy approaches are used to address pain and other symptoms associated with AS. Ayurvedic medicine, physiotherapy, and allopathic drugs taken together can help the sick live better lives. Keywords: Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS), integrated approach, vatavyadhi’s.
