MIRACULOUS EFFECT OF UNANI FORMULATION ON SUBARACHNOID HEMORRHAGE-A CASE STUDY

Abstract

Subarachnoid bleeding is a severe neurological condition. It is a medical emergency that may be caused by an intracranial aneurysmal rupture. Patients complain of severe headaches that are accompanied by vomiting. A 50-year-old male patient was admitted in hospital in Darbhanga with a complaint of severe headache, vomiting, and irritability and was diagnosed with subarachnoid haemorrhage during therapy. He was then referred to a higher center in Patna, where the neurosurgeon recommended CT angiography (CTA) and, after the final diagnosis, surgical intervention of the brain. The prognosis and cost of the surgical intervention were not suitable for the guardian. They came to Unicure Unani Health Care Center, Patna, in search of an alternative treatment. Doctors at Unicure advised Maul asl (Honey water) and an Unani polyherbal formulation containing powder of Gule Banafsha (Viola odorata), Ustukhuddoos (Lavandula stoechas), and Nilofer (Nymphaea alba Linn) for three months. A polyherbal formulation has the property of cleansing the blood clot and repairing the structural changes of the aneurysm. Maul asl has also the property of cleansing as well as restoring hemostasis. The complaints of the patient have been relieved after the treatment.
