THE CLASSICAL METHOD OF PREPARATION OF BIBHITAKA KSHARA

Abstract

Ksharakalpana is one of the unique pharmaceutical preparation forms described in Ayurveda and its role in treating various health condition. Kshara is the alkaloid of medional plants. Kshara is the substance having Ksharana and Kshanan properties.[1] Kshara is most potent in shastra and anushastra because of it has function of chedana, bhedana, and lekhana. This paper deals with tradisional method way of preparing Bibhitaka kshara.
